Shaping Canada’s Future with a High-Speed Rail

The proposed network is set to span almost 1,000 kilometres of dedicated and electrified railway lines, serving stations in Toronto, Peterborough, Ottawa, Montréal, Laval, Trois-Rivières and Québec City.

Alto will:

  • Boost economic prosperity and generate an annual uplift of 1.1% of Canada’s GDP
  • Support up to 51,000 jobs over 10 years
